We are properly licensed and equipped to provide Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Services throughout the State of South Carolina.
Edisto Engineers and Surveyors, Inc. began its Orangeburg, SC practice in the spring of 1976. Over the past 40 years, our staff members have worked together on a substantial number of successful projects involving a variety of facilities for governmental, commercial, institutional, and private clients.

Techniques and equipment utilized in performance of our work are modern and efficient. Accordingly, remaining abreast of the most current industry standards is a priority. Engineering and Surveying software utilized by our firm, such as the most current version of AutoCAD, are interchangeable, readily accepted, and commonly used by the engineering and surveying community. Networked computers in the office, interfaced with technologically advanced equipment in the field, allow us to coordinate efforts between office and field personnel efficiently and reliably. Each of our four senior field technicians has at least 15-years experience with projects spanning a broad variety of engineering and surveying projects.
City of Camden Sewer Rehab, Camden, SC: Project included topographic surveys of road right-of-ways suitable for design of 29,000 feet of sewer replacement.
Claflin University, City of Orangeburg, SC: Projects include Civil Site Design and permitting for the Health and Wellness Center, Claflin Commons Dormitory, and Millwood Parking Lot renovations. Asbuilt and topographic surveys of the entire campus in support of water main replacement throughout the entire campus were also completed.
Denmark Dentistry Site, Denmark, SC: Project involved topographic survey of the existing property as well as Civil Site Design and permitting of the new site.
Lake Marion Regional Water Distribution System, Orangeburg, Calhoun, Dorchester, and Clarendon Counties (current): Project includes all research, fieldwork, calculations, and drafting for general utility easements on approximately 70 miles of potable water transmission mains. U.S.A. Corps of Engineers delineated wetlands were also surveyed along the entire length of the project. All surveys were performed using the latest survey grade Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment.
SI Group, Inc., Orangeburg, SC – Projects include monitoring well surveys, soil boring surveys, asbuilts, site aerial mapping, and excavation takeoffs at their industrial facility.
Prince of Orange Mall, City of Orangeburg, SC: Project involved surveys for land purchase, topographical information, wetlands delineation, construction layout, and record asbuilt drawings.
Wal-Mart Marketplace, City of Orangeburg, SC: Project involved surveys for land purchase, topographical information, wetlands delineation, construction layout, and record asbuilt drawings.
Lowes of Orangeburg, City of Orangeburg, SC: Project involved surveys for land purchase, topographical information, wetlands delineation, construction layout, and record asbuilt drawings.
Orangeburg National Fish Hatchery, Orangeburg, SC: Project includes construction staking, earthwork volume calculations, and alignment verifications for reservoir dam modifications.
OCCSD 3 Comprehensive High School, Santee, SC: Project includes surveys for land purchase, design, construction layout, and earthwork volume verifications. Project site is approximately 94 acres.
Blackwater at Lake Marion, Elloree, SC: This project consists of subdivision surveys as well as horizontal and vertical roadway alignment staking for a 650-acre residential development. This development was a planned residential community for approximately 700 residences between Santee and Elloree, SC.
Numerous ALTA/NSPS surveys across SC over the past 40 years.
